We’re an independent information site, not DVLA or GOV.UK, so we can’t access your driving record, generate a check code for you, or resolve account-specific issues. For anything involving your actual licence or a code that isn’t working, contact DVLA directly (details below). For everything else about this site, we’d like to hear from you.
What we can help with
- Corrections — spotted something inaccurate or out of date on the site
- Feedback — general comments or suggestions on our guides
- Content requests — a situation or question we haven’t covered yet
- Advertising and partnership enquiries
What we can’t help with
We have no access to DVLA’s systems and can’t:
- Generate, check, or cancel a check code on your behalf
- Look up your driving record or licence details
- Resolve a problem with the official GOV.UK service itself
- Provide legal advice about your specific situation
Our approach
- We source facts directly from GOV.UK. Every process detail, validity period, and requirement on this site is checked against official government guidance, not guessed at or copied from other unofficial sources.
- We update this content regularly. DVLA’s processes can and do change, and we recheck our guidance periodically to keep it accurate.
- We’re upfront about what we are. This is an independent, ad-supported information resource. It is not a substitute for GOV.UK, and we always link through to the official service for anything that requires you to actually enter personal information.
Report a scam
If you’ve received a suspicious email, text, or request claiming to be from DVLA asking for payment or a check code, do not respond. You can report it to DVLA and to Action Fraud at actionfraud.police.uk.
